Today we encountered Kpod & the T65A's :) Kpod was heading east past Race Rocks when we got on scene this morning. We identified several Orcas including K33, K22, K25, K34 and K20. The pod seemed in resting mode when we were with them, hopefully digesting Salmon in their bellies! The T65A's were picked up right off Victoria Harbour heading east and in a very playful mode. It is not often we see Transient Orcas this close to Resident Orcas. Maybe because the Resident Orcas were sleeping the T65A's had not yet detected them.
